Geelong Children’s Week

Geelong Children’s Week returns this October with a mixture of live and digital events.

With more than 25 events on offer across the region, providing children the opportunity to connect with friends.

The program runs from Saturday 23 October to Sunday 31 October. The activities range from virtual performances and in-person events celebrating arts and culture activities.

Highlights include:

  • a virtual show by local children’s performers, The Mik Maks.
  • a day of activities at Milla Milla playgroup celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture.
  • a virtual performance by magician Dazzling Dan at the Botanical Gardens.
  • an online session of songs and stories with Granny Lee and her ukulele.

The program includes several at-home activities, including art and craft kits from the National Wool Museum. Furthermore, the Grovedale Toy Library will also be running activities during the week.

The Mik Maks

Headlining celebrations is an online performance from The Mik Maks. They’ll be performing their classics and brand new songs.
